Is it legal to tint the front windshield of a car?
The short answer is no. There is a legal shade limit though. In Australia, minimum visual light transmission or VLT limit of 35% is required. The front windscreen can only have a visor strip on the top of the windscreen. This will equal to either 10% of the total windscreen area, or a portion of the windshield above the reach of the wipers, whichever is greater.

We don’t. This is because we need to have the right conditions to perform a professional car tint. It needs to be wind-free in a very clean environment.
