This window film is 3M’s top of the line. It has unparalleled heat rejection, rejecting up to 65% of heat energy from the sun and and a massive 97% of infrared or radiated heat keeping your room cool. Infrared heat is the heat you can feel radiating from buildings or the footpaths even when there is no sun.
It’s completely transparent keeping your views just how you like them. It comes with five different variations each with a different visible light transmission or VLT to meet your needs. The PR50, PR60 and PR70 allow more natural light into your home while the PR20 and PR40 offer increased privacy and glare reduction. All of the range has low internal reflectivity some are less reflective than glass.

For situations where you cannot put the film on the inside of your current glass, like low-E glass or double glazing there is the Exterior Prestige range. As the name suggests, this is installed on the outside of the window. Doing this prevents the heat reaching the space between the double glazing panes and avoids ruining the Low-e glass coating on the inside of the window. External application also avoids disruption of occupants.
The Exterior Prestige range is growing in popularity in Australia after success in Europe and the USA. This is down to its incredible heat rejection which make it suitable for pairing with the growing use of Low-E glass and double glazing to meet energy efficiency goals.
The range is metal free, avoiding fading, corrosion and signal interference. The high performance light to medium tints combine all the benefits of heavily tinted or reflective films without the drawbacks of darkened rooms or mirrored windows.
They block up to 99.9% of the sun’s harmful UV rays, which are the single largest contributor to fading of interiors. Furnitures and wall paper will stay vibrant for longer.
