3M Night vision

Product overview

Comfort by day.
Enhanced views
by night.

3M Night Vision Window Film helps reduce solar heat and glare while keeping interior reflection low for more enjoyable views after dark.

The neutral film is available in three shades, allowing the level of solar control, daylight and appearance to be matched to the glass and the space. 3M nano-technology enhances colour stability, while a scratch-resistant coating supports long-term performance.

Best for Living areas, apartments, offices, hospitality spaces and other sun-exposed glazing where daytime comfort and night-time views both matter.

Why choose Night Vision?

Solar control without
losing sight of the view.

Designed to balance everyday comfort, glare control and a more natural view through the glass after sunset.

HEAT
Rejects solar heat

Helps improve comfort around exposed windows and may reduce cooling demand.

NIGHT
Improves night views

Low interior reflectivity helps reduce mirror-like reflections after dark.

GLARE
Reduces glare

Helps reduce eye discomfort and makes bright rooms and screens easier to enjoy.

UV
Rejects UV light

99% UV rejection helps protect furnishings, finishes and displayed items from UV exposure.

Choose your shade

Three films. One
balanced range.

Darker films offer stronger glare control and lower visible light transmission. Comparing samples against your glass will help confirm the right balance.

Professional film selection

Choose the shade
with confidence.

  • Confirm the glass construction
  • Review orientation and solar exposure
  • Compare daylight and glare preferences
  • Review the view and privacy expectations
Important considerations

Select for the glass,
daylight and view.

Night Vision is a family of neutral solar films, so the correct shade depends on more than the headline performance figure.

1
Shade changes daylight
Night Vision 15 is noticeably darker than Night Vision 35. Samples help show the change before installation.
2
Privacy follows the light
Daytime screening is not the same as night-time privacy when interior lights are on.
3
Glass compatibility matters
Glass type, thickness, construction, condition and solar exposure must be checked first.

            FAQ

            Frequently Asked Questions

Night Vision combines solar control with low interior reflectivity. This helps preserve outward views after dark, when highly reflective films can create a mirror-like effect inside.

Night Vision 15 is the darkest and offers the strongest glare and solar control in the range. Night Vision 25 balances performance and daylight, while Night Vision 35 transmits more natural light. The right choice depends on your glass, exposure and preferred appearance.

No reflective window film can guarantee night-time privacy when the interior is brighter than outside. Night Vision is designed to reduce distracting interior reflection and improve the outward view after dark.

The supplied 3M data includes results for double clear and double tinted glass. The complete glazing system must still be checked before installation to confirm product compatibility.

Night Vision rejects 99% of UV light in the supplied performance data, which helps reduce a major contributor to fading. Visible light, heat, humidity, materials and age can also contribute, so no film can eliminate fading entirely.
