3M Dusted and Frosted CRYSTAL Glass Finishes provide translucent decorative surfaces inspired by sandblasted and etched glass.
Permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive allows the finish to be wet-applied to suitable existing glass. The material can cover a complete panel or be precision cut and printed to create privacy bands, logos, wayfinding, patterns and branded interiors.
Best for Office partitions, meeting rooms, glazed doors, reception areas, retail spaces, hospitality interiors and selected residential glass where privacy and design need to work together.

Dusted Crystal has a lighter sandblasted appearance and transmits more visible light. Frosted Crystal creates a denser etched-glass look with greater visual screening and lower visible-light transmission.
Yes. The products can be electronically cut to create custom shapes, logos, bands, text and decorative patterns. Fine detail and minimum stroke widths need to be considered during artwork preparation.
Selected products can be inkjet or screen printed with suitable UV-cured or solvent inks on a user test-and-approve basis. Printed-product quality and durability are not covered by the standard product data.
The range can be used on suitable vertical exterior glass, subject to product selection, exposure and installation requirements. Exterior warranty terms are shorter than those for qualifying interior applications.
3M does not recommend interior applications where condensation consistently occurs. Bathrooms, wet areas and high-humidity spaces require careful site assessment before specification.
The listed application surfaces include glass, acrylic and polycarbonate. However, the data sheet states that plastic application surfaces are not covered by the limited warranty, so compatibility and expectations must be reviewed first.
