Most standard car window tinting installations can be completed within a few hours, although the exact time depends on the vehicle, the number and shape of the windows, the film selected and whether existing tint must be removed. Same-day service may be available at selected locations. Your local team will confirm the expected completion time when you book.
Your installer will advise you when it is safe to lower your windows, as curing time can vary with the film and weather conditions. You may initially notice a slightly hazy appearance or small moisture pockets beneath the film. This is generally part of the normal drying process and should clear as the film cures. Avoid touching or cleaning the inside of the windows until advised.
Selected 3M automotive window films are supported by a limited lifetime manufacturer’s warranty for eligible applications. Warranty coverage varies by product and may include issues such as bubbling, peeling, cracking or discolouration. Good question! Well, we are locally owned and operated around WA and have been in the business for many years. Our workshops offer a range of 3M quality products & films. These are top-end choices and patented with a limited lifetime warranty. Our team of tinting professionals is known for their customer service and commitment to price and value for money.
The short answer is no. There is a legal shade limit, though. In Australia, a minimum visual light transmission or VLT limit of 35% is required. The front windscreen can only have a visor strip on the top of the windscreen. This will equal to either 10% of the total windscreen area, or a portion of the windshield above the reach of the wipers, whichever is greater.
We don’t. This is because we need to have the right conditions to perform a professional car tint. It needs to be wind-free in a very clean environment. We cannot have dust or anything else around that may affect the results. Our workshops are set up in a way to provide you with optimum results and to get the job done fast & efficiently first go.

A 20% tint is a great choice. You can see through windows with a 20% tint if you’re up close, but it’s still difficult. It is enough to deter snoopers, it is private and comfortable enough to see through while driving.
When vehicles come with a factory tint, it’s usually between 15% and 20%.
